The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations

The European Commission has adopted this proposal for the recovery of waste equipment. The Directives is designed to tackle the fast increasing waste stream of electrical and electronic equipment and complements European Union measures on landfill and incineration of waste. Therefore P.C. and peripheral equipment can no longer be simply dumped. In addition there may be security issues to consider.

Using our data removal software utility, it eliminates all traces of data from hard drives. It is designed to comply with the U.S. Department of Defence 5220.22-M standard of overwrites. This standard has a total of between three and thirty-five overwrites and is intended for organisations or individuals that require a greater degree of hard drive security. If for any reason the Hard Drive can not be accessed it is removed and physically destroyed.
